Tochi Wigwe Unveils Expert Think Tank Behind the TW Entrepreneurship2030 Agenda

The TW Entrepreneurship 2030 Agenda (#TWEAGENDA), a not-for-profit initiative founded by Tochi Wigwe, is a five-year mandate aimed at supporting over five thousand (5,000) micro and small business owners in Nigeria with practical, innovative, and non-financial solutions for sustainable growth. Central to this mission is the #TWEAGENDA Think Tank, which serves as a dedicated solution hub, driving recommendations that translate insights into tangible impact.

Recognising that this bold mission will require collaboration, earlier this year, Tochi Wigwe invited public nominations of professionals to serve on the Think Tank. From over seven hundred and fifty (750) nominations, six (6) experts were selected to form the Think Tank. They are:

Abiola Adewole, CEO of BrandX Sourcing Ltd and Managing Director at Oxfordblue Ltd. She holds a Master’s degree in International Business and Management from the University of Manchester (2007) and is an alumna of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (2021).

Olatunji Gbesan, Managing Partner at Crimson Oak Capital and a seasoned business strategist. He holds degrees from Ajayi Crowther University and Babcock University, alongside certifications in Corporate Finance, Wealth Management, Project Finance, and Portfolio Management. He is also a licensed Fund Manager.

He is also an MSECB Certified Auditor for multiple ISO Standards.

Yetunde Ajibade, A lawyer, trainer, lecturer, sales expert, and educationist. As Managing Director of Ace Michaels Integrated Services Limited, she oversees the company’s strategic direction and growth. She is also the co-founder of GETWORK Nigeria, an initiative focused on improving the quality and preparedness of Nigeria’s entry-level workforce.

Dare Adebayo, Co-founder of Edves, and founder of Duslarcreations and ITvessel. A Jacobs Foundation Fellow, Seedstars alumnus, and MindCET Go alumnus, he has earned global recognition for advancing education through technology. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science,

a Master’s in Technology Management, and an MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, USA.

Since their inauguration, this group has played an instrumental role in transforming insights from #TWEAGENDA’s industry-focused town hall sessions into practical solutions. The Think Tank engaged with over three hundred and fifty (350) founders across the beauty, creative, agriculture, fashion, and hospitality sectors, uncovering the most pressing challenges limiting growth and competitiveness for MSMEs in Nigeria.

With the town hall sessions now concluded, the Think Tank is consolidating, analysing, and prioritising these challenges to develop practical, sector-specific recommendations. Going beyond identifying problems, they are crafting innovative, evidence-based, non-financial solutions designed to strengthen resilience and promote long-term sustainability for MSMEs.

By transforming post–town hall insights into measurable initiatives, the Think Tank is ensuring that #TWEAGENDA is not just a platform for dialogue but a catalyst for meaningful, lasting change in Nigeria’s MSME ecosystem.

My late dad left me with enormous shoes to fill, says Wigwe’s daughter, Tochi

Tochi Wigwe, daughter of Herbert Wigwe, the late group chief executive officer (GCEO) of Access Holdings Plc, has said her father left enormous shoes to fill following his death.

The Nation reported that Wigwe, his wife and son alongside others died on February 10, after they were involved in a helicopter crash in the United States of America.

Wigwe’s funeral programme started on March 4.

The deceased will be laid to rest on March 9 in his hometown in Isiokpo, Rivers state.

In a tribute to her father, Tochi eulogised Wigwe as a committed and doting father, who was an “unwavering anchor for family and friends”.

She said: “In this moment, for the first time, your words resonate deeply within me. No longer do I want to tilt my head and squint my eyes in confusion. You were simply extraordinary.

“You urged me to reach new heights I never even imagined. Whenever doubt clouded my mind, you would chuckle knowingly and say, ‘You really just don’t know whose child you are, you’ll soon find out.’ And once again, you were right: I’ve come to find out.

“I could never fathom how you managed to do it all; it seemed inconceivable. Turning everything you touched to gold while remaining an unwavering anchor for your family and friends.

“Distance meant absolutely nothing to you. You travelled continents on a whim just to see me for a couple of minutes before heading back to your responsibilities,” she continued.

“According to him, my mother Hannah and I were the most beautiful and my nickname was also ‘pretty.’

“Who will prompt me to flash a peace sign in every photo; who will engage in marathon debates with my friends and myself on flights to Cape Town; who will inquire ‘what are they saying about me online today?’ And who will ask me about my thoughts on Wigwe University?

“You were Paradox, a tower of strength with a heart as soft as silk. You can never raise your voice at me without calling me an hour later to apologise.

“Your influence extended far beyond our family circle. You effortlessly convinced my friends that their futures lay in Nigeria, urging them to elevate their aspirations.

“You’ve left me with enormous shoes to fill but you’ve also gifted me with an unwavering support system. You nurtured your relationships with such care that you’ve bestowed upon me farthest to guide and protect me for that I’m eternally grateful.

“I love you deeply and I ache for the day we will be reunited to resume our cherished gossip sessions to continue our pep talks about life and everything in between with all my love, Mama T, aka Your Pretty.”
