Reality TV star Tochi has linked the poor performance of Nigerian students in the 2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams to an overdependence on artificial intelligence (AI) tools, particularly ChatGPT.

With over 70% of candidates scoring below 200, Tochi expressed concern that the widespread use of AI is undermining genuine academic effort. In a post shared via his Instagram story, he argued that students are increasingly abandoning critical thinking, reading, and independent research in favour of copying responses from AI platforms.

“It’s hardly surprising that JAMB reported over 75% of candidates scored below 200,” he wrote. “With the rise of AI tools like ChatGPT, many students have abandoned critical study and true learning. Some people can’t even curate a message without ChatGPT.”

Reality TV star, Tochukwu Okechukwu, aka Tochi has blasted Nigerians over lack of basic medical expertise following the tragic death of actor Junior Pope. 

He berated Nigerians more concerned in posting updates than paying adequate attention to the late actor.

On his Instagram story, Tochi addressed the callous and inconsiderate people who flocked the scene of the boating accident, which killed Junior Pope and other crew members only to post updates.

According to him, all he observed throughout the incident was the absence of basic CPR with several people making up stories and taking others on a wild emotional ride based on unverified rumors.

He said: “Yesterday just proved that people are very insensitive and ignorant people flocking the location just to post updates, No basic CPR, reporting nonsense and dragging people on a roller coaster of emotions from unconfirmed reports!!!

“The heartbreaking thing is, if you check all the videos posted yesterday you won’t find any trace of an Ambulance or any emergency response unit like people were literally carrying his body up and down…”

BBNaija reality TV star Tochukwu aka Tochi has criticized Nigerian women for the absence of Nigerian artists from the winners’ list at the recently concluded 66th Grammy Awards.

Tochi suggested that South African musician Tyla’s Grammy win over Nigerian artists was influenced by Nigerian women.

He made these remarks on his X page, attributing the victory to Nigerian girls’ enthusiastic support for the song.

He wrote: “Na Nigerian girls follow cause this thing, anytime you open social media every time “make we waterrrrrrrr.”

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tochi has claimed that if a lady is suffering in a relationship, it automatically means that she is also broke. 

Taking to his Instagram story, Tochi argued that the major reason why ladies are suffering in relationships is because they don’t have money.

He reemphasised that if a lady had money, she wouldn’t suffer because even before the relationship they were suffering.

“If you’re suffering in a relationship as a babe! Is simply because you self don’t have money! Because if you have money you won’t suffer! Even before the relationship you were suffering,” he stressed. 

Reacting toTochi’s statement, One Sabitalk wrote, “Women in Nigeria date for survival. Nothing anybody will tell me, what their own fathers are brothers couldn’t do for them they will be expecting you to do for them which would never be possible.”
