    Reality star Tolani Baj opens up on working 9-to-5 in America

    Reality TV star and Disc Jockey, Tolani Baj, has opened up about her work experience in the United States and why she ultimately chose to return to Nigeria.

    In a series of throwback posts on Snapchat, Tolani said she struggled with the 9-to-5 job culture abroad and often looked forward to December, when she could travel back home.

    She revealed that she frequently thought about quitting her U.S. job to resettle in Nigeria, where she felt happier and more at ease.

    “I hated working a 9-5 in America so bad. I would spend months counting down to Detty December, God Abeg. My everyday thoughts,” she wrote.

    Tolani added that she was constantly torn between staying in the U.S. and moving back permanently, but Nigeria always felt like the better choice.

    Former Big Brother Naija star, Tolani Baj has shared a disturbing experience where she received death threats from Wizkid’s fans.

    This, according to her, came after she criticised the singer’s shade towards Don Jazzy on her podcast, Bahd And Boujee Podcast, which she co-hosts with Moet Abebe.

    Tolani Baj expressed her shock and frustration, stating that even her podcast guest, Nasboi, received death threats.

    She questioned the reasoning behind such violent responses, noting that podcasts are a common platform for discussions worldwide without resulting in death threats.

    “I received a death threat from Wizkid’s fans after we hosted Nasboi on this podcast. He also received death threats as well. 

    “It’s just a podcast. What’s the death threat for? People have been doing podcasts in America and elsewhere but they don’t get death threats”, she wrote.

    Former Big Brother Naija contestant and disc jockey, Tolani Shobajo aka Tolani Baj, has made a surprising revelation in a recent interview with Clout Radio.

    She claimed her controversial tweet stating that men shouldn’t dance in clubs inspired British rapper J Hus’ song, ‘Who Told You Bad Man Don’t Dance’, featuring Drake.

    According to DJ Tolani Baj, her tweet, which sparked a heated debate, was meant to convey that men can dance but should do so “respectfully” especially if they have a partner.

    She jokingly demanded recognition for her influence on the song, saying “TBaj told y’all” and “You guys still owe me from that tweet”.

    She said: “I am a DJ, people can dance. Everybody can dance. You guys are still owing me from the tweet [that men shouldn’t dance in clubs].

    “I tweeted it years ago. Can I breathe? I even inspired J Hus’ song, ‘Who Told You Bad Man Don’t Dance.’ TBaj told y’all.

    “Men can dance, they can do legwork but respectfully. Because if you’ve a babe, you can’t be embarrassing her like that.”

    Popular BBNaija star and Disc Jockey, Tolani Baj has said she wouldn’t have been a celebrity if her parents were together.

    She said her father being anti-entertainment would have made her pursue education up to the Ph.D. level and got her a great job in the government office. 

    She said he father was not a fan of showbiz, adding that he wouldn’t have let her participate in a reality TV show.

    Tolanibaj spoke in the latest episode of the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, hosted by her and actress Moet Abebe.

    She said: “If my parents were together, I don’t think I would be a celebrity. Because my dad was so anti-entertainment. I would just do a master’s, Ph.D. My dad would even look for a job in the government for me. There’s nothing he would not do for me.”
