Tonto Dikeh, Angela Okorie fight over Naira Marley’s phone number

Former actress-turned-politician, Tonto Dikeh and her colleague, Angela Okorie have engaged in some ‘back-and-forth’ over Naira Marley‘s phone number.

It all began after Okorie posted one of the trending videos of the late singer Mohbad while alive.

The video depicted the singer of “Blessed” in distress on a hospital bed, recounting his encounter with individuals allegedly from the National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

He also expressed the hurt stemming from being betrayed by Zinolessky, his former record label mate under Marlian Music.

The actress and singer, captioning the video, mourned the pain endured by MohBad during his lifetime, questioning the reasons behind the suffering he experienced.

She bade his soul eternal rest even as she underscored the wickedness in the hearts of men.

She wrote: What exactly did he do to deserve such cruelty. I’m sooo broken.

“Ahhhhh the heart of men is desperately wicked. God will Rise!! Rest on King #ripmohbad

Reacting as with so many others under the post comment section, Tonto who had earlier knocked Naira Marley over his ‘taking Mohbad’s fans for a fool’ condolence post, requested for the Marlian huncho’s number, dubbing him Angela’s bestie.

She wrote: “Give me Naria Marley no. He is your bestie sis. I Dey wait

But Angela immediately made another post where she faulted Tonto for publicly requesting for Naira Marley’s phone number which she didn’t deny having.

She accused Tonto of clout-chasing noting if that wasn’t the case, she would have opted for a private recourse considering they both had each other’s numbers and often spoke over the phone.

Expressing her grievance over Dikeh’s action, Okorie stated: “Tonto better stop that nonsense ask me Naira’s number privately and I will gladly give you.

“Coming on public to ask for the number you clearly know I will have, we talk on the phone so stop clout chasing with what is going on.

“We all are fighting for the truth and nothing but the truth. Nobody should drag me on this cos me my self-have been crying my eyes out since they took the life out of this young man.

“I mean it could have been me, I was shot too, the evil you protect will speak against you tomorrow, na for this same industry dem shot me too.”

Taken aback by her colleague’s outburst and ‘clout-chasing’ accusation, Tonto replied: “Which one be clout??? If you vex finish we go kiss and makeup!!!

“Na so I take fight for you go take fight for another person!!! Nothing is private about this matter!!

“If you write this kind episode Ontop nothing e be say you don carry me for mind!!! #Peaceout.”

Firing back, Angela added: “Na you carry me for mind for you to write me publicly knowing fully well that you have my number.

“For Christ sake it’s a sensitive issue right now, someone is dead and we need Justice.”

Tonto Dikeh asks Naira Marley to provide Sam Larry or shut up

Former actress Tonto Dikeh has challenged singer Naira Marley to provide his associate, Sam Larry.

She ordered the Marlian record boss to shut up instead of saying anything else that didn’t relate to fishing out Sam Larry on Mohbad’s death.

Samson Erinfolabi Balogun, popularly known as Sam Larry, a Lagos socialite and show promoter is being accused of having a hand in the death of singer Mohbad that died on Tuesday at 27 in a controversial manner.

Sam Larry, who’s also a well-known associate of the Marlian Music boss, a record label that formerly signed Mohbad, came under heavy fire after a video of him and his men disrupting the deceased’s video shoot with Zlatan Ibile surfaced online.

It was alleged that the music promoter and his associates subjected Mohbad to relentless bullying and influenced promoters to deprive him of opportunities; making his life increasingly challenging after leaving Marlian Music.

Though, there are speculations that Sam Larry has left for refuge in Kenya. He however released a video from his hideout on Friday denying having knowledge or a hand in Mohbad’s demise.

While fans and lovers of Mohbad continue to seek justice for the late singer, Naira Marley who had been accused of singing and dancing to one of his songs on Snapchat several hours after Mohbad’s passing issued a statement on Friday, mourning his former signee.

Besides the formal condolence message by his record label, Naira also made post via his Insta stories demanding a befitting burial and Justice for Mohbad.

Many social media users have rubbished his post. Others suggested he was taking Mohbad’s fans for a ride.

Reacting to Naira Marley’s post, Dikeh wrote: “Is Naria Marley playing with us? What the Fvck is that letter you posted?

“Who are you asking questions? Where is Larry sam you sent to frustrate mohbad with cutlazz (and people were thinking it’s cane…Look well)….

“I will suggest You better SHUT UP (you look prettier with your mouth closed anyway) and keep dancing on Snapchat while we seek justice..

“The last thing you will want to do is TAKE (US) MOHBAD’s FANS FOR A FOOL.

  • Bitter-rival celebs

What would our social media look like without the stiff fights that often distract us? Boring! 2019 is not over yet but it has had its own fair share of drama and fights. Most of these fights played out on social media. Our package this week is on the top celeb beefs and tiffs this year.

    Lizzy Anjorin vs Toyin Abraham

It’s time to get the popcorn ready because the feud between Nollywood actresses Lizzy Anjorin and Toyin Abraham is still a running tiff. As things stand, this very emotive fight might enter a new phase soon. The court drama that it gave birth to is yet to be resolved.

Anjorin has feuded with more celebrities than we can count – simply because she can’t hide her feelings, and it seems as though we can now add Toyin Abraham to her shortlist! Their social media feud began after Abraham put to bed, and some fans accused Lizzy of not sending her a congratulatory message. This sparked a debate on Toyin’s page during which some of her fans reportedly rained insults on Anjorin. There was a lull and then everyone thought the dust had settled. But it was the calm before the storm. Shortly after, Anjorin launched a blistering attack on Toyin and the social media went crazy as the fans of both actresses rallied to their defence.

Anjorin alleged that Abraham always incited her fans against fellow colleagues and celebrities in the entertainment industry. It has been hell ever since.

    Tonto Dikeh vs ex-hubby

This rather public feud probably should not come as a surprise. That is because Churchill Olakunle is the ex-husband of hard-hitting, non-nonsense actress, Tonto Dikeh. For most couples, separation or divorce is like a declaration of war. This assertion also holds true for this celeb couple. Most of their fights played out on social media. Dikeh accused her ex of being irresponsible, incapable of meetings the needs of his family, domestic violence and some other sundry issues.  After their bitter separation war on social media last year, sometime in the early part of the year, Tonto Dikeh, again came out to drag her ex-husband, Olakunle, on social media and this time around, she revealed more than what a lot of people were expecting to hear. During her interview with media personality, which has to do with an issue of the bedroom. Olakunle, who was mute all through the period Tonto Dikeh was ranting and rainy insults on him, opened up, saying it was all a lie. He described himself as  ‘a tireless machine’ with a woman when one of his followers had commented on one of his posts, saying “40 sec makes one.”

He wrote: “Of course not, don’t be deceived; you cannot undermine an ex-military boy… I am a tireless machine during marathon…”

However, we hope that the two will settle and eventually become friends again for the sake of their son.

Lizzy Anjorin vs Ronke Oshodi Oke

Although you would think that Lizzy and Ronke would get on well; thanks to their shared interests-Nollywood Yoruba, it seems as though the complete opposite is the case. Last year, actress Liz Anjorin took to the social media to slam actress Ronke Oshodi-Oke for allegedly poking fun at her at a party they both attended. Before then, Ronke had taken to the social media to caution her colleagues for excessively display in their worldly possessions on social media. Though she didn’t mention names, Liz Anjorin felt the video was directed at her and she replied, describing Ronke as in some unprintable terms. Although things cooled off after a while, a new twist was introduced to the conflict soon enough when Ronke, while handling the mic, alluded to the tantrums heaped on her by an actress. The disclosure made Lizzy uncomfortable as she felt harassed. Ronke, on the other hand, put out a long video saying she and Liz were not mates and she will continue to ask for money at events because she’s doing her job as an MC. Liz didn’t allow that to go unchallenged. She replied Ronke: I’ll rubbish you anytime you do that. We hope the two actresses will sheathe the sword soon.

    Iyabo Ojo vs Kemi Olunloyo

Iyabo Ojo has been able to work her way up over the years to become a huge name in the world of show biz and it seems as though she’s also learned a lot over that time. This has given her the opportunity to have a large fans base and to speak on personal matters and sundry issues on social media; apparently some people aren’t too happy with her posts.

The controversial journalist and the Nollywood actress were engaged in a nasty war of words on social media with each party dragging the other with equal venom. Not until recently was a truce brokered by Toyin Lawani and Toyin Abraham. Kemi Olunloyo even claimed that Iyabo Ojo wasn’t married to her husband and claimed that she had evidence to land the actress in jail. The beef has, however, been settled.

    Davido vs Kemi Olunloyo

Superstar musician Davido aka OBO and controversial Kemi Olunloyo have been engaged in a continuous social media feud for years. This feud seems not to have an end. The latest episode in the long-running fight between the two manifested when Olunloyo congratulated Davido and girlfriend Chioma who have plans to marry next year. Olunloyo remarked: “Congrats Chioma on the birth of your baby boy. I will come visit you this weekend,” she tweeted. The hip pop star reacted through a message on social media, saying: ”This one wan near my pikin, 400 dey wait you.”

    Kemi Olunloyo vs Linda Ikeji

Linda is arguably one of the most famous bloggers in Nigeria. The dispute between Kemi Olunloyo and Linda is one of the most famous in Nollywood. Is it over? We are not sure. What we know is that Madam Kemi still attacks Ikeji fairly regularly.

The renowned blogger and socialite, Linda Ikeji, celebrated her 39th birthday on Thursday September 19, 2019 in Dubai with friends and family Kemi claims Linda is not revealling her real age to the public.

While wishing her a happy birthday, Kemi pointed out that Linda is 43 years old as opposed to what she and Wikipedia are saying.

“Happy 43rd birthday to Linda Ikeji. Fans, Wikipedia age is 39th birthday,” she wrote.

    Shan George vs Femi Branch

You might be wondering why Shan George is on this list, considering she just recently had a spine surgery. Well, you don’t need to worry, because the surgery is the bone of contention.

That’s because, just days after the actress went through a successful spine surgery in Abuja, Femi Branch, who also happens to be a member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria(AGN), took to his Instagram page to share a picture of the AGN executive giving an envelope to recuperating  Shan George.

“God bless the & Actors Guild of Nigeria for coming to the side of our dear colleague and friend @shangeorge as she recovers from her back surgery”

Reacting, however, in the comment section, Shan said: “They didn’t come to my aid sir. I’m not crying for any aid/help; it was just a show of love from the AGN president towards a colleague, @chief_femibranch. I know say you hate me but this is more than low. Aid ko, Babiala ni, you either correct this wrong impression or just kuku delete this post. Thank You”.  We also learnt the actress took to the AGN group chat to blast the actor.

In her words:  “Abeg, make all of una help me tell Femi Branch to stop his bile for me now! I’ve had enough of of ur display of hatred for me at every little opportunity u can scramble at..Delete that bloody wicked evil post of urs…” Femi has remained mute all through.

Sonia Ogiri & Angela  Okorie vs Mercy Johnson

Nollywood actresses Sonia Ogiri and Angela Okorie are said to be embroiled in a social media mêlée with Mercy Johnson. The social media has been buzzing with mixed reactions after a Nigerian actress identified as Sonia Ogiri, in an Instagram post, titled ‘healing process’, shared her bitter experience in the hands of top Nollywood star, Mercy Johnson. However, while many people attacked her for trying to start a smear campaign against Mercy Johnson due to how successful she has become, there were others who believed her. Fellow Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, reacting to the post, revealed that the actress did worse to her and went on to accuse the actress of fighting her both physically and spiritually.

“DEAR TROLLS,” she wrote, “when I was depressed I trolled. When I was down and out, I trolled too. When I was POOR I looked for the wealthy to insult. When I was sad I despised the happy. When I felt sick I envied the healthy.

“When you pile all these emotions together, you will notice a downhill trend. A trend that will take and push any man to the darkest corners of life. These emotions bring us down so much that we don’t even realize we are like this.

“We become so used to hating and being envious of things that are not in our control. How do we leave this dark place? How do we overcome such a phase of life? THE GOSPEL. MY TRUTH, I GREW AND SO WILL YOU…Our prayers are with you dear troll.”

It will be recalled that the mother of one and her ex-hubby Churchill were at each other’s throat after separation, going online to open up old wounds.

  • Is Tonto Dikeh’s 40-sec charge admissible?

IT almost got drowned in the ocean of distress in which we are all immersed.

In normal times, it would have got so much attention, considering the subject and the personality involved. But, that is not to say that it is a subject that we discuss freely. Our cultural and religious inclinations do not give room for an open debate of such matters, except occasionally when celebrities are involved.

Among parents, it sparks a huge debate whenever the idea of discussing it in schools is mooted. A taboo? Not quite, but not talking about it is seen as a measure of moral rectitude. Right? Well, that is neither here nor there.

Besides, these times seem not to favour such matters in public discourse. Consider Boko Haram’s bloodletting, throw in armed robbery and communal clashes. Then,  mix them up with the new kid on the bloody block, kidnapping and its more vicious cousin, banditry. You have a cocktail of crises, worse than a civil war, some have said.

Just how much can a country take?

When he returned from a 10-day private visit to Britain the other day, the President acknowledged the arrival of a new trade – boom, gloom, doom and all – kidnapping.  Agents of violence are loosed on this beautiful country, a blight on our lively cities and seductive countryside of green forests that speak to the majesty of nature. They have all become theatres of their devilish operations.

So, amid the clash of desperation and despondency, who will talk about it and risk being dismissed as a nitwit or a mere curtain-twitching busybody who won’t just mind his own business? It is, to many, a trivial issue for which no serious minded person should spare a thought, particularly now.

What am I talking about?  Star actress Tonto Dikeh’s outburst about her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill. Heard it? She told radio show host Daddy Freeze: “At the beginning of the relationship, I never suspected him of cheating because he has a sexual problem, a disease. It’s called premature ejaculation. He can’t stay…for more than 40 seconds. My son was the longest … one minute.”

The Nollywood star got married to her ex in 2015. When the marriage collapsed, she made a documentary video on the breakup. She alleged that her husband was a ritualist and fraudster.

That was, in the estimation of many a fan, charitable. Not so the radio show outburst, which has been rated to be more explosive than the three-part video. Tonto Dikeh claimed to have revealed her ex’s bedroom mannerism because, according to her, he called her a drug addict. Churchill is said to have recalled that he met her at a night club.

READ ALSO: Tonto Dikeh hints on desire to get new boobs for birthday

The Tonto Dikeh allegation of 40 seconds bedroom show has provoked many questions, which marriage counsellors, psychologists, medical experts and ancillary professionals will have to answer. This, being a family paper, I will not list some of the posers being raised by observers of this matter so as not to offend the sensibility of the reader.

Why will a woman bring into the open the salacious details of her ex-husband’s concupiscence competence? What has time got to do with it? Is it a general problem or one that is peculiar to philanderers and lotharios among who Tonto Dikeh has numbered her ex?

Did she complain to him and what did he do to reverse the situation? Is it right for women to go public with such erotic grievances? Is this also part of the Beijing spirit? Will other women embrace Tonto’s formula to whip their ex into line?

One would have thought that Tonto’s testimony is the stuff for hair dressing salon gossip. Wrong. Now, it has set the social media on fire. Even if the actress had insisted on talking about it, why bring in her son? In future when his mates begin to taunt him with his mum’s assertion about his dad’s bedroom report card as signed by his ex, his mom, what will the poor boy do?

Is 40 seconds medically realistic? Was the star just being hyperbolic to stress the fact that, in her words, Churchill would “not last more than 40 seconds?” Is it possible to get wrapped up in such an erotic act and, at the same time, keep the time? Was Tonto taking a stopwatch to the bedroom to time her man?

Was the man aware that he was being timed? Can the actress prove her assertion? How? Video? Mere oral evidence? A medical report? Witnesses? These are just a few of the questions her fans – and foes – have been asking.

Her Nollywood colleagues have been screaming: “Ah, incredible!” Churchill, it is to be noted, has not said a word in his own defence against what some men have described as a grave allegation. He has taken it all on the chin. Trust the busybodies; they have been asking: “Is he guilty? Why will a man keep quiet about such a serious allegation? Does he need help? Is the woman perfect; why not release details of her shortcomings?”

Some charlatans have been recommending their so-called remedies to Churchill – unsolicited.  Thankfully, there are no reports that he has accepted any of their prescriptions. An overzealous fellow listed the remedies he said Churchill could try – Jigijigi, Ogidiga, Manpower, Alomo, Pakurumo, Fodo, Afato, Eruku, Flusher, Bazooka, Osomo, Wiper, Kick and Start, and many others.

Their potency, claim the self-acclaimed exports, is not doubtful.

One of the manufacturers announced gleefully the other day that he had, at last, found a solution to (I guess you know it) “45 seconds”.

Suddenly, “45 seconds” has gone beyond being a measure of time-taking on other meanings. Gone are popular phrases, such as “see you in a minute” and “give me one minute”. Now it is “I’ll be there in 45 seconds” or “see you in 45 seconds”.

It is a measure of Tonto Dikeh’s magnanimity that she has moved on from this matter. She has just announced that her birthday is coming up next month. To mark the momentous occasion, the philanthropist and self-acclaimed evangelist will be getting a new pair of breasts. “Dear Lord Jesus, I have all I want for now. My birthday wish is that you make my schedule and that of Dr Ayo align so that I have my new boobs,” she announced excitedly. Her fans are hailing her.

If the Tonto Dikeh  kiss-and-tell seems to be generating less attention, not so the matter of Caramelo, the Abuja  lap dancing club from where the police arrested many girls for alleged prostitution.

Caramelo was demolished on Monday by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) authorities. I do not know yet the legality of such a drastic action. A court may have to resolve that someday. But, many Nigerians have been crying out over the fate of the girls who were hurled into detention for being found in that club. They were reportedly harassed and asked to pay in cash or kind (sex) for their freedom. Those who would not budge were beaten up, reports said.

There have been protests in some cities, including Abuja and Ibadan, over this matter, with young women bearing placards. Their message: ”Sex for bail is rape”. Police chief Mohammed Adamu has set up a probe to determine what happened. We await the panel’s report.

It is hard for me to comprehend what a strippers club clients gain. I am told the most difficult thing to get there is sex. You just watch some women gyrating and gyrating until they get tired. You are not to touch them. If you do, barrel-chest bouncers will throw you out.

I do not know yet if the girls have proof that they were raped. Medical evidence. Video (as is common nowadays). Oral proof (remember the Obafemi Awolowo University girl and the disgraced professor?). If the police are found to be wrong in this matter, they should surrender their men for trial.

The fundamental rights of all, including lap dancers, must be respected. Besides, the economic and social situations that have forced many into immoral ventures, turning cities into Sodom and Gomorrah, should be tackled. Now.
