    Transcorp Power grows revenue by 38 per cent to N308.5 billion in Q3

    Transcorp Power Plc  recorded N91.2 billion profit before tax in unaudited third quarter financial results for the period ended September 30, 2025.

    The company’s revenue grew by 38 per cent  to N308.5 billion in 2025, compared with N223.5 billion in third quarter of  2024.

    The third quarter 2025 performance was driven by an increase in average power generation, reflecting Transcorp Power’s continued investment in improving generation capacity and operational excellence.

    Profit after tax rose to N68.42 billion in third quarter 2025, from N58.4 billion in third quarter 2024, representing growth of 17 per cent.

    Chairman Transcorp Power Plc, Emmanuel Nnorom, said: “Our performance in the third quarter, building on the positive momentum in the first half of the year, demonstrates Transcorp Power’s resilience and capacity to sustain profitability, despite economic challenges, supported by efficient operations strategies and prudent cost management.     Transcorp Power declares N11.25b interim dividends

    •Pre-tax profit rises to N59b in H1

    The board of Transcorp Power Plc has declared an interim dividend of N11.25 billion after the energy company recorded significant growths in revenue and profit in the first half.

    Shareholders will receive interim dividend per share of N1.50 for the first half ended June 30, 2025.

    Key extracts of the interim report and accounts showed that gross revenue rose by 52 per cent from N135.4 billion in first half 2024 to N205.8 billion in first half 2025. Gross profit rose to N77.6 billion in first half 2025 as against N62.9 billion in first half 2024, representing a gross margin of 23 per cent. Profit before tax increased by 15 per cent from N51 billion to N58.7 billion.

    Chairman, Transcorp Power Plc, Emmanuel Nnorom said the first half performance was driven by enhanced generation capacity and improved operational efficiency, a reflection of the company’s continued investment in infrastructure and service delivery.

    According to him, the performance highlighted Transcorp Powers’ ability to maintain profitability, despite inflationary pressures and foreign exchange volatility, supported by effective pricing strategies and cost management.

    He added that the results also showed the company’s commitment to delivering significant returns to shareholders, as indicated by the enhanced dividend.
