    Philanthropist empowers constituents on birthday

    Politician and philanthropist, Tunde Olaogun, has empowered constituents of Ogbomoso North in Oyo State.

    This empowerment and uplifting is coming as Olaogun celebrates birthday today.

    Olaogun also unveiled an empowerment and inclusive home in his constituency named the royalty place.

    According to Olaogun, the royalty place is the result of a vision long nurtured. He stressed that the property is more than a building, as it is majorly a statement of belief: that every human being carries dignity, worth and untapped potential, regardless of background or circumstance.

    In his words: “The Royalty Place is being conceived as a home for empowerment, inclusion and community uplifting – built with hope and purpose.”

    For his birthday, Olaogun is hosting a medical outreach, which will provide free health screenings, consultations and essential medications.

    “This is a deliberate reminder that good health remains the quiet foundation upon which livelihoods, dreams and futures are built, with this, a Back-to-School Initiative is unfolding-extending support to children and elderly women, reaffirming a simple but powerful truth: that they are seen, valued and remembered. If a child is returning to school with renewed confidence, or an elderly woman is smiling with reassurance, then this birthday is achieving its true purpose,” Olaogun said.

    In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, society big boy and philanthropist, Tunde Olaogun, has donated JAMB forms to scores of students in secondary schools in Lokoja, Kogi State.

    The selfless act, many of his well-wishers noted, is a testament to his commitment to showing love and care to those who need it most. According to Olaogun, Valentine’s Day is not just about showing love to romantic partners, but also about extending kindness and compassion to the less privileged.

    The donation was presented to the students at GYB Model Science Secondary School, Lokoja, where the School Principal, Chief Ajofe Yakub and the Director of Guidance & Counseling, Mrs Omotosho, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Olaogun.

    Those who know Olaogun hinted that this is not the first time he has demonstrated his commitment to giving back to the community.

    It is with honour, humility and of course excitement that socialite turned politician, Tunde Olaogun announced his conferment as the Tayese of Oluwo, Iju-Ogundimu, Lagos recently.

    The traditional title, according to Olaogun, is a testament to his outstanding contributions, dedication, and commitment to the development of the community.

    The traditional council, it was gathered, bestowed the title on Olaogun in recognition of his relentless efforts and selfless service.

    The council deemed Olaogun worthy of the highly placed title.

    The conferment ceremony, which promises to be a grand celebration of culture and tradition, is scheduled to take place in April 2025 in Lagos, Nigeria.

    “I feel honoured, and I’m sincerely appreciative of this prestigious title conferred on me by the traditional council of Iju Ogundimu. I see it as a challenge to be more involved in the further development of the community,” he stated.
