    Twisco committed to youth devt

    A chocolate drink that contains cocoa and malt, Twisco, said it is committed to developing the youths to become the responsible adults of the future.

    Also known for “nourishes big dreams” successfully sponsored the third edition of the Spelling Genius competition.

    The competition held recently at the SUBEB Multipurpose Hall, Maryland, Lagos, brought together over 1500 students and instructors from primary and secondary schools (state and private).

    The contestants vied to showcase their spelling skills at the competition aimed to enhance vocabulary and spelling skills for successful learning.

    Twisco awarded a total of ₦750,000 in prizes to the top three winners: ₦150,000 for the third place winner, ₦250,000 for the second place winner, and a grand prize of ₦350,000 for the first place winner.

    Speaking to journalists at the event, Brand Manager, Beverage Category at Promasidor Nigeria, Lillian Omorenuwa, said they are not only helping the children develop spelling skills and reading comprehension, but also bolstering their confidence and communication skills as well.

     “At the heart of Twisco is empowering young minds; one word at a time. Yes. We have been doing this because the children are dear to us and we stand for their well-being,” Omorenuwa said.

    Twisco, a premium chocolate brand, and Loya Milk, a premium full cream powdered milk, recently  co-sponsored the Ikoyi Junior Golf Tournament  in commemoration of the Children’s Day at the Ikoyi Golf Club.

    According to the organizers, the initiative underscored the importance of sports development in children’s lives and highlights the role of brands in supporting their dreams and aspirations.

     Oyetola Akeredolu, Brand Manager of Twisco, stated: “The tournament  was the highlight of our Children’s Day activities. We will continue to sponsor events that focus on children because they are our target audience.”

    She emphasized the relevance of Loya Milk due to its calcium content, essential for strong bones—a necessity for sports.

    “Twisco is about empowering children’s dreams by providing the essentials needed for strong bones,” she added.

    During the event, kids were shown how to make different drinks with the brands’ products, including Loya Milkshakes.

     To complement the drinks, Mama Onga was present to provide food.

    Lillian Omorenuwa, Brand Manager of Loya Milk, highlighted the brand’s commitment to nurturing children’s dreams, saying, “Our brand aims to help children achieve their dreams, no matter how unconventional.”

    A past captain of Ikoyi Golf Club, Tunde Johnson , expressed gratitude to the brands for prioritizing sports promotion for kids.

     “Promasidor is a strong brand, and we are grateful for their support.

     Golf is an important game that teaches about life, integrity, teamwork, and managing mistakes,” he noted.
