Bola Atta, the Executive Producer of REDTV and Chief Executive Officer of the United Bank Africa (UBA) Foundation, is mourning at the moment.
Atta is currently mourning the passing of her beloved sister, Lola Adefope (nee Ayantuga), who was a former Secretary to the Local Government and Senior Special Assistant to ex-Governor of Ogun State, Senator Gbenga Daniel.
The sad occurrence has seen Senator Daniel penning a heartfelt tribute to the families of Ayantuga and Adefope.
Born Nininlola Adesola Ayantuga Adefope, but fondly known as Lola by family and friends, the charismatic Lola was born in London, England on September 14 1962 to Ajoke Ayantuga, an accountant, and Obafemi Ayantuga, a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

A loving wife and mother, Lola married architect Adebola Adefope in 1992. Their family was blessed with children, and she embraced motherhood with deep love, dedication, and grace.
As a dedicated and respected government official, Lola’s career in the public sector spanned over 30 years, serving in both Lagos State and Ogun State.
Lola loved socialising and spending quality time with her family and friends. She found joy in travelling, going for walks, reading, and catching up with her favourite Albert Square residents.
Fun-loving and always smiling, with a great sense of humour and the most sonorous laugh, she lit up every room she walked into. Lola was truly the life and soul of any get-together.
She was deeply loved and left a lasting impression wherever she went. Lola will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as the bubbly personality, loving soul, and kind spirit that she was.
