    Former Big Brother Naija All-stars housemate, Uriel Oputa has come hard with a stern warning against people who downplay a woman’s effort and achievement because she isn’t married. 

    She warned those who engage in such in Nigeria to desist from doing so henceforth. 

    Uriel lamented that in Nigerian society no matter how much a woman achieved, she hasn’t accomplished anything if she is not married.

    The 35-year-old singer stated that the notion was flawed, adding that some women choose to be unmarried.

    On her Instagram story, Uriel wrote: “In Nigeria, if you like be a billionaire, have the most successful business, be the most famous, you haven’t accomplished anything unless you are married.

    “Very useless mindset. Some women actually don’t want to get married. Stop downplaying women’s achievements because of marriage.”

    She said she was contemplating flying economy class to London for the first time in years due to the steep prices, highlighting that business class fares from Nigeria to London have soared to 7 million Naira.

    In her post, she humorously recalled a saying by controversial transgender, Bobrisky about the challenges of being a ‘good girl’, but she quickly noted she was joking with this remark.

    She shared a heartfelt video capturing her visit to a fertility clinic, where she took the important step of preserving her eggs.

    The fitness enthusiast expressed her concerns about time running out while waiting for the perfect man to start a family.

    Egg freezing, a method endorsed by the UK’s Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), involves collecting a woman’s eggs, freezing them, and later thawing them for potential use in fertility treatments.

    Uriel, a 35-year-old chef, emphasised the necessity of this procedure, citing the gradual reduction in egg quality after the age of 30, which can limit a woman’s chances of conceiving.

    In the video, Uriel passionately advocates for awareness, urging women to consider freezing their eggs as a proactive measure to preserve fertility until the right partner comes along.

    Uriel Oputa wrote: “I’m creating awareness!!! Apparently, by 30 the Quality of our eggs Reduce. Ladies, would you consider Freezing your Eggs? Until Mr Right comes? Creating awareness and educating myself and others. We walk on this health journey together.”

    In the video, she stated in part: “It’s a hard pill to swallow; at this age, I am now, my mother had five children. Time is ticking for me and I am aware, so I decided to weigh my options. If that perfect man doesn’t come now, I need to secure myself and nurture my seeds.”

    She denied aggressively kissing her newfound love interest and junior colleague, Groovy in a car.

    This advice is triggered by the alleged romantic attraction netizens claimed she has for popular controversial Tiktoker, VeryDarkMan. 

    VeryDarkMan, recently featured in an event which took place in Jos, was seen glammed up with a white shirt and a black jean rather than being on his regular singlet.

    His change of wardrobe definitely got lots of people giving compliments and gushing over him.

    While reacting to this, Uriel Oputa charged women to not disregard a man just because he is still putting on rubber slippers and wearing a singlet.

    She recalled how people lambasted her simply because she initiated a live conversation with him, as though he weren’t another human being.

    Pere, one of the six finalists in the just concluded BBNaija All Stars show, had a lasting impression on Uriel after they showered during their stay in the house.

    In one of her post eviction interviews, the fitness and lifestyle personality disclosed that Pere was naturally endowed even as she lavished him with praises.

    In a recently surfaced chat clip, Uriel continued with her praise of Pere’s ‘endowment’ as she referred to him by his alias in Igbo ‘dimkpa’ which loosely translates in as ‘General’.

    She claimed they shared some connections and hinted on being open to having kids together though with a clause.

    According to the 35-year-old singer: “I’m naturally drawn to an Alpha man, one that is ‘endowed’. So, I think that’s what I love about Pere.

    Before her eviction, Uriel openly admitted to Biggie during one of her diary sessions that she felt a strong attraction towards someone in the house right after they shared their first kiss which left viewers intrigued and excited about the seemingly newfound romance.

    Disputing their declaration, Uriel, on the latest episode of the Clout Africa podcast said she is still not convinced about their relationship because their intimacy feels off.

    “And let me tell you why. There was one kiss. You know when you see a couple’s kiss. You’ve seen my kiss, right? Very soft. You cannot compare my kiss to Adekunle and Venita’s kiss.

    “So, I saw a clip; they were in the toilet; Venita wore a swimming suit, and Adekunle grabbed her waist, and they started to kiss. So I examined the kiss. To me, that kiss was not sensuous.”
