    Nobody cares about what you’re going through, says Uzee Usman

    Actor Uzee Usman has shared his frustration and disappointment over betrayals from close allies.

    In a heartfelt post, he lamented that people are often driven by selfish interests, and lack genuine care for others.

    He expressed that even trusted confidants can turn out to be betrayers, exploiting personal struggles for their gain.

    Usman noted that during challenging times, one often suffers alone, with others merely pretending to show concern.

    He questioned the sincerity of those who claim to care, asking his followers if they truly do.

    He wrote on X: “In the end, nobody cares. Whatever you’re going through, you’re on your own. If you talk to someone, they exploit your problems. If you don’t, you suffer in silence. People pretend to care, but they really don’t. Do you?”

    Actor Uzee Usman has shared his thoughts on the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) nominations and relationship with senior colleague, Funke Akindele.

    He also spoke on his experience working on the 2023 hit movie, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’.

    In an interview with Legit, Uzee said acting the role ‘Adamu’ in the movie was one of the most challenging characters he has played in the movie industry.

    However, Funke made the role interpretation easier for the cast.

    He said: “It is one of the most challenging characters I have played, although Funke as a director made it easier for us because we were working and having fun. She helped us to interpret our roles.”

    Speaking on his relationship with Funke, Usman said: “I knew her before the production of A Tribe Called Judah but we were not close. She is someone who appreciates people and speaks to them with respect. After the movie, we became very close and I love her very much because of the way she loves people around her.”

    Usman also reacted to the complaints by some fans that some deserving actors were not nominated for the AMVCA.

    He said: “I think the reason some people are complaining is because the award is focused on the viewers’ choice. It is the movie the people love the most that the fans expect to be there. I understand that it is complicated at times because it is humans that are the judges. So, they are not perfect but they are trying. I am hopeful that A Tribe Called Judah will win some awards.”

    Ungrateful people shouldn’t ask me for help again, says Actor Uzee Usman

    Actor Uzee Usman has issued a stern warning to ungrateful people consistently beg him for money to fund their lifestyle.

    Uzee, via an Instagram post, begged his troubles to stop asking him for money as it is getting out of hand.

    He noted that he has burdens to care for and he is not responsible for anyone’s failure.

    Uzee Usman strictly admonished his followers to respect themselves and cut their coats according to sizes, urging them not to get married when they don’t have the money.

    Tagging the beggars as useless and ungrateful people, Uzee Usman asks them to work and earn a living.

    “LAST WARNING. If you don’t have money don’t marry? If you don’t have money no fuck give ur wife belle? If you don’t have money no go school?
    If you don’t have money respect ur self and cut your coat according to ur size.
    Pls pls pls again don’t ask me to help you for anything again go and hustle.
    Useless people. Ungrateful people,” he wrote.
