“Today is my 21st wedding anniversary. I am grateful to God. Marriage is a bed of thorny roses. It has extremely lovely times and really trying moments. In all moments, ‘THE WILL’ is key. Getting married to the ‘right’ person is critical (knowing the person substantially). Staying ‘in love’ is paramount (not just ‘loving’ your spouse)

“And finally for me, it’s ‘the desire’ to want to stay married (in the absence of abuse). The culminated effect of these 3 points may transcend those thorns in the roses. Prickly as they may be, however, the internal remedies are sufficient to let you move to the next day and the next and for years. Regardless of the thorns love is still a beautiful thing. I have no regrets about being married and staying married. I pray for Grace to continue this beautiful struggle. I am blessed to have my wife Adjoa Van Vicker by my side all these years. I have known her for 30 years of life. Happy anniversary to us”, he wrote on Instagram.

Actor Van Vicker delves into music

GHOLLYWOOD actor and movie producer, Van Vicker, has decided to go into music. The actor revealed this in a recent interview, saying he intends to use his image to support the showbiz industry.

Vicker also revealed that he would be running an audition in February, this year, to discover and invest in talents.

“I have chosen music now because I think I have done much for the movie industry, with my Van Vicker training facility; being a producer and a director as well. So, it’s time to contribute to the music industry as well. I am looking at discovering a talent for the international market. It doesn’t matter if it is hip-life, gospel or reggae. What matters is real talent,” the actor stated.

Vicker started out in the entertainment world in radio, as a presenter at Groove 106.3 FM and Vibe FM. He also worked as a television personality for TV3 and Metro TV. As an artiste, he appeared in the Ghanaian television series, Suncity, which depicted university life. VAN VICKER shuns GENEVIEVE

RECENTLY, Nigerian screen diva, Genevieve Nnaji, literally stirred the hornet’s nest when she reportedly described Ghanaian-born Van Vicker as not a good actor.

However, Vicker, whose ego may have been bruised, has said that he will not join issues with the mother of one.

In his response to the tirade, which has gone viral on the social media, he said, “I read the article, but I wasn’t bothered about it because that was her opinion and she is entitled to it. I never responded to it and I don’t think I will. Nevertheless, I don’t have any ill feelings towards her. Now, whether her opinion has changed or not is still the same. It doesn’t make much of a difference to me because I know I am a fantastic actor and I am doing what I am doing with passion. I am enjoying it and I’m making the best of it.

“If I am given a job to do and she is involved, I will do the job. I won’t say because she said this, I won’t do the job. If I meet her at a function or on a movie shoot, I’ll ask her. But I won’t do it through the media. Some of these things people write in the papers or on the blogs are not even true; it’s possible they twisted her words. They do it to me all the time. But when I meet her personally, I will ask her if she did say that. And if she did, the conversation will continue as to why she said it and how she said it.”
