    Why I sought God before designing Priscilla Ojo’s wedding gown – Veekee James

    Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James has shared her experience designing a breathtaking wedding dress for a popular influencer, Priscilla Ojo.

    According to James, she sought God’s guidance before creating the masterpiece.

    In a heartfelt Instagram post, James also shared the challenges she faced while creating the masterpiece, revealing that she suffered vocal strain due to exhaustion during the design process.

    Despite the stress, James said her desire to create something extraordinary drove her.

    She described the experience as a labour of love spanning weeks or months, resulting in a unique piece.

    Priscilla praised James’ exceptional craftsmanship, saying the final product exceeded her expectations.

    James also commended her team for their dedication and talent, giving glory to God for the successful outcome.

    She said partly in a video: “Do you even know I lost my voice because of this dress? I’m short of words for so many reasons. Before we created Priscy’s wedding dress, I had gone to God and said I wanted to create a masterpiece for Priscy”.

    Captioning the post, she wrote: “I promised God that all the Glory will be His because He did this.

    “Special thanks to my amazing team for sticking solidly beside me in every season, you all are the most talented humans in the world, and I’m so blessed to be doing this with you all”.

    Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James has shut down a hater who criticised her appearance, emphasising that her beauty is God-given and unaffected by negativity.

    The troll suggested that James’ beauty was solely due to filters and wigs.

    James responded with a video, showcasing her natural beauty without any enhancements.

    She emphasised the importance of being mindful of the energy we project online and how it affects others.

    In her video, James encouraged the troll to redirect their negative energy toward positivity, stressing that harmful comments don’t impact her self-worth.

    She confidently showcased her unfiltered face which showed her self-acceptance and inner beauty.

    “The problem with many of you is that you are not very smart. Many of you aren’t very smart because you should be very intentional about the kind of energy you give off and where you give off that energy because, whether it be negative energy or positive energy, you should be concerned about the result of the energy you give off.

    “If you come on my page and drop something that is supposed to make me feel ashamed of something that is supposed to make me feel bad, you should be ready to see that it yields results, right? Based on the fact that you know what I’m someone who feels ashamed when people say stuff about me, when people say negative things about me, then you should know that this energy your bringing is going to hit.

    “But if you know that when you keep giving some of energy and it’s not giving results, my brother, my sister, why are you wasting your time? Why waste your time where you won’t get results?

    “It’s clear you’re not purposeful or self-driven, who would be ashamed to come on social media with my natural face?”

    She embraced her natural beauty, saying, “This is the face of someone who hasn’t slept in days and has been under the sun. This is a perfect face and a face designer by God, and skin created by the almighty. He made me in his own image. I’m 100 percent. If you want to talk rubbish, go to the place where it might be appreciated…You can’t shame the shameless; I am unapologetically me.”

    Relationship adviser, Blessing CEO, has publicly criticised Nigerian designer, Veekee James, for excessive sharing of her marriage on social media, leading to unnecessary criticism and scrutiny.

    Blessing CEO reacted to an article suggesting that Veekee’s husband “married high” and attributed the backlash to Veekee’s excessive sharing on social media.

    In a video posted on Instagram, Blessing CEO advised Veekee to keep her marriage private, saying, “Veeky James. If your yam white, you go cover am. Remember if they can’t get u, they go for those you love. Keep your marriage out of this social media. Leave competitions for Miznwanneka”.

    Famous fashion designer, Veekee James has opened up about how she met her husband, Femi Atere.

    Veekee James subtly denied the online speculations from blogs and social media users on how she met her husband. 

    According to her, Femi used to be a manager of one of her friends and that was the meeting point for them. 

    The fashion enthusiast revealed this while being interviewed on Channels TV programme, Rubbin’ Minds with the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

    She noted that before their star-studded marriage in Akwa-Ibom, she and her husband dated for two years.

    Veekee James said: “There is a lot of controversy around how we met because my husband used to be one of the managers for a friend of mine. That was how we met. And a lot of blogs have had a lot to say about how we met but I’ve never ever come out to talk about it. And I think I want to keep it that way.

    “We are happy. We dated for quite a while. I think for almost two years. After a year and some months, we got engaged and then we played the wedding for almost six months.”

    Speaking on the outcome of the match, Veekee James, who recently tied the knot, used her Instagram page to mock Nigerians in a now-deleted post.
