Presiding Bishop of Victory International Church, Ibadan, Taiwo Adelakun, has challenged married couples to make teamwork the fulcrum of their union for sustainable marriage.
He gave the admonition at the wedding of daughter of Founder of VLBC International, Apostle Lawrence Achudume, Chidinma, and Israel Lawal at Victory Life Bible Church International, Abeokuta.
Delivering his sermon: Seven Things A Couple Must Do To Get It Right”, Adelakun implored the couple to always pray together, eat together, sleep together, play together, have God together, talk together and discipline together.
Explaining importance of prayer, he said prayer answers all things, adding with God on their side, they have nothing to worry about.

He said eating is a form of fellowship on the table, advising couples to eat together at least one of three daily meals.
Shedding light on need for couples to sleep together, he said doing otherwise would encourage infidelity.
He noted playing together strengthens bond and deepen affection for each other.
While underscoring the role communication plays, Adelakun said meeting minds makes the union run well.
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, represented by Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, said he holds the Achudumes in high esteem, urging the couple to pray that God perfects all that concerns them both.
Founder of Kingsway International Christian Center, KICC, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, in a recorded video message advised the couple to remain committed to their faith, praying that God grants them their heart desires.
Highpoints of the wedding was the signing of the marriage register which had the parents of the bride and groom, and two people on both sides as witnesses as well as the presentation of the marriage certificate done by the Chairperson of the Marriage Committee, VLBC, Pastor (Mrs) Okuneye.
Some of the other dignitaries present include Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, represented by his wife, Chief (Mrs) Bola Obasanjo, former Ogun State Governor, Commissioner for Women Affairs in Ogun State, Honourable Adijat Adeleye, Former First Lady of Akwa-Ibom State, Mrs Martha Udom-Emmanuel, Former Governorship Aspirant in Edo State, Engr. Gideon Ikhede, Legal Luminary, Dr. Gbenga Adeoye and Ambassador Folake Marcus-Bello.
Religious leaders present were the Bishop of the Egba Anglican Diocese and Chairman of Christian Association Of Nigeria, Ogun State, The Right Reverend Emmanuel Adekunle, Reverend Mrs. Abiola Omobude, Papa and Mama Bishop Felix Adejumo, Archbishop Joseph Ojo and Wife, Bishop Tom Samson of the Christ Royal Church International, Bishop Oluwunmi Banwo of the Bible Society Of Nigeria, Apostle Tom Towomewo, Pastor Abraham Senfuye of the Treasure House, among others.
