So, let’s continue to show up for each other. Let’s lift one another, mentor one another, and build each other up in every way possible.” She said.
She urged women to not underestimate the power of their own story and to believe in theirselves and to take greater steps into becoming powerful.
“We push through and we can achieve everything that we set our mind to be. All of these things starts with you as a person and I want to charge you and encourage you today. Get up from where you are today. Do that thing that you’ve always wanted to do,” she added.
Keynote Speaker, Co-founder of So FreshNG, Abimbola Balogun, said that her goal is to inspire women and to know that the power to break barriers and build bridges is in them, and they can do this.
She said that the biggest part of breaking barriers is the belief within yourself that you can do whatever they put their mind to, thereby urging women to break barriers in so many ways.
“Breaking barriers, understanding that you can do this. That’s a barrier. Believing is 1. And then ability to attract the right people, keep them, and being resourceful in managing other resources around around, your business. So you would also face barriers with infrastructure.
“Whatever business you are in, there would always be challenges. But in building bridges, you’ve got to understand that you can build a bridge if you believe that you can, and so you need to be able to attract the resources that you need to achieve your goals,” she said.
