    Zamani releases new EP, Déjá vu

    A rising music star, Olamilekan Emmanuel Afeniforo, known by his stage name, Zamani, released his new extended play, Déjá vu, on Thursday, November 2.

    Zamani described déjà vu as an embodiment of his visions and long-held dreams he possesses for singing.

    He said: “Music has always been my profound interest, and I find solace and inspiration through listening to a diverse range of musical genres. I believe that others will find the same in the release of my EP which is now available on all streaming platforms.”

    Zamani was born in Ibadan to Ekiti parents on August 17, 2002, and music has always been what he was passionate about.

    Asked about his genre, he noted that he’s not restricted to a genre and would be open to other musical genres as he continues his career.

    He noted: “While I primarily focus on creating music within the hip hop/Afro-pop genre, I am constantly driven by a strong desire to explore and experiment with other musical genres in the near future.

    “I am open to the idea of expanding my artistic horizons and branching out into various genres, including but not limited to R&B, pop, and even elements of rock. I believe that versatility is the key to artistic growth, and I am excited to challenge myself and evolve as a musician by delving into different musical landscapes.”

    Speaking about his challenges and goals in the music industry, he noted that finding opportunities, financial stability, and managing self-doubt have topped his challenges noting that his ultimate goal is for fans to immerse themselves in his lyrics, making it a source of comfort, motivation and joy for them.
