    Zlatan, Victony, Gunna join Asake on stage in Los Angeles

    Nigerian artistes Zlatan and Victony,  alongside American rapper and singer Gunna, joined award-winning sensation Asake aka Mr. Money, on stage in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

    The event, part of Asake’s ongoing ‘Lungu Boy World Tour,’ took place at the YouTube theatre and drew a large crowd from across California.

    The night kicked off with electrifying sets from Icerage and Tomi Tribe, who kept the audience dancing and fully engaged as they awaited the star attraction.

    Asake made a dramatic entrance, arriving on stage in a vintage car, wielding a baseball bat, and immediately diving into a high-energy performance.

    The highlight of the night came when Gunna, Zlatan, and Victony joined Asake on stage, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

    Davita Lamai, the baby mama of singer Zlatan, has come to his defense after a video went viral showing their son, Shalom being scared of street kids and calling them “bad boys”.

    The video sparked backlash with many criticising Zlatan’s parenting.

    In a lengthy Instagram post, Davita explained the situation was taken out of context and the street kids in question can be intimidating, even to adults.

    She shared her own experiences of being harassed by similar kids in traffic and expressed concern for her son’s safety.

    Davita praised her son as “the most compassionate and caring and friendly boy ever” but acknowledged that she had to teach him to be cautious around strangers.

    She questioned what “teachable moment” could be derived from the situation, implying that the backlash was unwarranted.

    ”When it’s your own child please allow them to get down from the car in that traffic and greet those boys one by one! Same boys that will mount your car, damage your car and bang on the windows if you give them chance. As you give 1 money the rest will come and violently harass you.

    “Even me as an adult if I’m driving alone and those boys crowd my car in traffic and start looking through the window l am scared. What exactly is the teachable moment there? SMH.

    “My son is the most compassionate and caring and friendly boy ever to the point that when we finally permanently moved to lagos I’m the one that had to make him scared of people because he will follow anyone and everyone”.

    Rising rapper Crown Uzama aka Shallipopi has detailed how meeting Zlatan skyrocketed him to fame.

    He said fellow rapper Zlatan Ibile was instrumental in propelling him to stardom.

    In a recent interview that went viral, Shallipopi discussed the life-changing influence Zlatan Ibile had on him.

    He described how Zlatan helped him connect with Dapper, the CEO of Dvpper Music, and his former label boss.

    Shallipopi said remembered reaching out to a number of artists to remix his popular song Elon Musk, saying that to his pleasant surprise, only Zlatan Ibile returned his message and agreed to meet in person at the studio.

    In the video, the self-proclaimed Pluto presido revealed that he first met Dapper when they were both recording in the studio, which initiated their collaboration.

    He said: “I said let me message Zlatan if he would remix my Elon Musk song, and immediately he said ok that he will be back to Nigeria tomorrow, I showed everyone that Zlatan replied me they couldn’t believe me.  When he came back he called me to the studio so we began to record the remix, then someone passed me smoke only to realise it was dapper.”
