NOLLYWOOD actress Tana Egbo – Adelana and her family members have buried the Egbo patriarch, His Royal Highness Igwe Patrick Okoro Egbo.
The late monarch and father of the beautiful actress was buried in Nkanu East Local Government, Enugu State.
The burial ceremony, which was held for one week, had top Nollywood actors and other society bigwigs in attendance.
Some of the film stars that attended the burial on the invitation of Tana include the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, Junior Pope, Peggy Ovire, Ebele Okaro, Ego Nwosu, Angel Palazo, Adaeze Eluke, Sharon Francis, Rita Arum, Calista Okoronkwo and Sammy Lee.
The burial ceremony witnessed family and chieftains perform traditional rites and pay homage before he was finally laid to rest.
Tana, in a chat with The Nation, said, “I can’t forget the memories we shared. My dad, the late Igwe will forever be remembered for his kindness, love, and commitment to his children, the people he ruled over, and Nigeria at large.”
