Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola has approved the payment of February salaries of staff of local governments and primary school teachers.
A statement by the Head of Service, Sunday Owoeye, said retirees are also to be paid their pensions allowances up to February.
But he said retired primary school teachers would receive their own pension allowances up to January.
He thanked local government workers, teachers and retirees for their patience, cooperation and understanding.
Owoeye assured that the government will clear all salary arrears and pensions owed all workers and retirees within the shortest possible time.
