Nigeria Teqball Federation (NIGTEQ) has announced the inclusion of the sport at this month’s National Sports Festival slated for Asaba, Delta State.
The sport will be making its debut at the NSF and it will appear as a demonstration event and not as a scoring event.
Eleven States namely: Kwara, Plateau, Delta, Kogi, Edo, Taraba, Oyo, Enugu, Imo, Jigawa and Gombe State have indicated interest to take part.
A post on the NIGTEQ social media noted: “It’s official! Teqball will be in the National Sports Festival with 11 States confirmed: Kwara, Plateau, Delta, Kogi, Edo, Taraba, Oyo, Enugu, Imo, Jigawa and Gombe States.”
