Three suspected vandals have been remanded by Osun State Magistrate Court, Ilesha, for allegedly stealing a transformer cable on the premises of Owa Obokun’s palace.
The suspects Owolabi Abimbola, 33, Sulaiman Mutiu, 25, Samson Oluwafemi, 25, and others, now at large, are facing a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy and stealing.
Police prosecutor Adigun Kehinde told the court that the defendants, on May 11, conspired and stole a transformer cable worth N700,000 at the Owa Obokun Palace.
The suspects pleaded not guilty.
Magistrate A.O Awodele ordered that they be remanded in police custody till May 18 for hearing.
