The runway was filled with a splash of beautiful colours, trendy designs and amazing models  catwalking with elegance .

Welcome to the  OZA Women Fashion Show, which was awesome because a lot of the designers came from different locations with different designs and collections showcasing different styles.

The brain behind the show is Maryam Dopemu , Founder and Creative Director of Toks Gallery. ” I called them ORE OOFE  which means “The GRACE.” The collection is inspired by Street wears. I just wanted a glimpse of African attire in European designs. This enabled me to promote African attire more because of my love for African Print.  To be honest, I never believed that I could participate or meet up with the collections, but I thank God I did”.

Blending the new collection with her specialisation as a designer has been awesome. ” The focus is

Classic and street fashion. Sometimes, I go beyond my specialty because of customers’ demands. Some customers can burst your brain with their requests. Well, the crux of the matter is that customers are always right”.

Happily she talked about her passion and the new things she want to achieve. “I actually believed in advancement in technology, which I would love to develop myself in.  I therefore see myself thriving well in fashion with new innovations and ideas in the next collection that we are currently working on”.
