Tinubu 2023: Fayinka inaugurates support group

In an effort to support the Presidential bid of the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the Special Adviser on Transport to Lagos State Governor on Thursday inaugurated a support group called Asiwaju Network Movement.

The movement which had its first inaugural meeting on Thursday in Mushin area of the State was attended by prominent caucus leaders and members of the APC.

Hon. Olajide Temitope, who represented Fayinka at the inauguration explained that the movement was launched to commence a door to door campaign for the success of Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition.

“Asiwaju has sacrificed a lot to nation building, human capital development and the progress of democracy across the country. He has made leaders across the nation and intellectual public office holders has gone through his tutelage,” Temitope said.

A guest at the event, Alhaji Somotan who also doubles as State Coordinator another support group, in his remarks applauded the initiative and called for collaboration with his support group to actualize the ambition of Bola Tinubu.

“We will work hand in hand with this new movement because Hon. Fayinka is not just a member of the ABAT Foot Soldiers but also the Grand Patron of the movement,” Alhaji Somotan said.

A party Chieftain who also graced the inauguration, Alhaji Fatai Idowu also implored members of the movement to get their PVC at any INEC Office closer to them or visit the INEC Website for PVC transfer, correction or replacement.

Henry Ige, an EXCO of the new movement stressed that the support group is not a caucus and it is open to all believers of Asiwaju presidential bid.

“New members are welcome from all areas of life,” Hon. Henry said.
