The Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Organisation (TISPCO) has urged the media to avoid sensational reporting and shun unfair commentaries on the successes recorded by the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
The organisation also said the ruling party was comfortable and certain of winning the presidential election slated for February 25, 2023.
The campaign council’s Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga, spoke yesterday on Arise TV.
Onanuga said most of the reports in the media in recent time pointed at a conspiracy not to consistently report the successes recorded by the APC administration.
While noting the myriad of challenges bedeviling the country, Onanuga said it is on record that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration had recorded notable achievements.

The media chief expressed optimism that Asiwaju Tinubu would leverage on the monumental achievements of the present administration when the election campaigns kick off.
“We are really not troubled by whatever narrative people are saying about our party’s stronghold. We are strong in the Southwest, that is the home base of our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Whatever happened in Osun will be a different ball game when it comes to the presidential election. We will win all the Southwest states hands down. We are sure to win the minimum votes in the East.
“If you go further to the Southsouth, we are very strong in Delta, Edo states; Rivers is up for grabs, if you follow what has been going on between Governor Nyesom Wike and Atiku Abubakar.
“In the Northeast, where Atiku comes from, we already believe that we have at least two states in our pockets, that is Borno and Yobe. We are going to make a lot of incursion into other parts of the country.
“In the Northwest, I think we are the party to beat there. In the Northcentral, we are going to make a lot of incursion. So, in this election, we are comfortable and we are going to beat Atiku, and he knows that,” he said.
