BOLA Ahmed Tinubu (BATCO) Mandate Group yesterday held a rally in Lagos to drum up support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima.
The group and its supporters, over 100,000, walked from Ikeja to Ojota through Maryland, led by APC stalwart, Abdullahi Enilolobo.
Enilolobo said the rally was also to show its backing for the second term bid of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Addressing members, group’s leader, Senator Solomon Adeola (Yayi), represented by Alhaji Ayinde, said Nigeria deserves Asiwaju Tinubu.
He downplayed propaganda targeted at the candidate, noting Tinubu remains sellable and capable to lead the country.
“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu remains the only option for Nigeria considering global economic challenges occasioned by diseases and other issues “
“Nigeria is on the cusp of greatness and Asiwaju is the ideal driver. Just take a look at the situation of Lagos when he became governor and that tells you all you need to know”, Enilolobo said. The leader sensitised voters on the need to get their PVCs and vote APC at all levels.
BATCO Mandate Group will, in the coming days and weeks, extend the walk to other parts of Lagos.
