The minister of women affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, has urged market women in Anambra state to form corporative in order to benefit from upcoming projects.

She said she would do her best to link the international communities to the state to ensure the actualization of President Bola Tinubu’s mandate.

Addressing women during her visit to the state, Kennedy-Ohanenye said she was working with non-governmental organisations to ensure women were economically empowered.

She said: “Tinubu-led administration is out to protect and empower every woman in Nigeria. My expectation is to see women love themselves and not be their own problems.

“I want you to take advantage of having an Igbo minister, including forming corporations in clusters of at least 20 members in order to partake in projects.
