According to one of Uk’s most followed news portal, DailyMail, Super Eagles vice-captain Ahmed Musa will be among the ten new signings that will light up Premier League this season following his move to Leicester City from Russian champions CSKA Moscow.
The 23-year-old who joined the Foxes for a club record £18m fee has already shown glimpses of what to expect with his spectacular solo goal against Barcelona in pre-season and although Claudio Ranieri’s men lost that game 4-2, supporters were left wanting more as the Nigerian grabbed a brace.
Leicester City who coasted to the Premier League title last season will kick-off the new campaign with an away trip to newly promoted Hull City.
The report read: “In a bid to prove that last season’s incredible Premier League title triumph was not a one-off, Leicester smashed their transfer record to sign the talented Nigerian Ahmed Musa.
“The forward has pace to burn and introduced himself with two stunning goals in Leicester’s pre-season friendly with Barcelona.
“Paired with Jamie Vardy in attack and Leicester have the speediest front line in the Premier League.”
Musa was part of the Leicester City sqaud that lost 2-1 to Manchester United in the FA Community Shield at the weekend.
