The Tor Tiv Prof Jemes Ortese Iorzua Ayatse has called on the Federal Government to review the 2000 military invasion of Zaki-Biam and other communities which had led to the destruction of the country home of the late former Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Victor Samuel Leo Malu (rtd) and make adequate compensation to the victims as an honour to him for his selfless and patriotic contribution to the peace and unity of Nigeria.

The Tiv monarch described the late General as a popular and committed soldier of the Nigerian Army who was well respected and regretted that death came at the time his people and the entire nation needed his vast military experience and exposure to curb the security challenges confronting the country.
