Chief Joseph Tsegba, the 81-year-old Benue chief, kidnapped two weeks ago, has been released.
Chief Tsegba, the ruler of Anzua ward in Gboko Local Government and father of former Speaker pro-tempore, Terngu Tsegba, was dropped at Mfo village in Buruku council, on the Gboko/Katsina-Ala federal highway.
He was released at 9.30 pm Tuesday and taken home.
Terngu Tsegba, who was happy at his father’s release, said no ransom was paid.
