Two men, Prosper Uzordima and Stanley Okereke, were on Thursday arraigned before an Igboosere Chief Magistrate’s Court, Lagos, for allegedly leading hoodlums to invade the premises of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp).
The two defendants, according to men of the Inspector-General of Police Monitoring Team, Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID), Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos, had on October 6, invaded Transcorp premises at block 1, Plot 1-6, Rumens road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
They were arraigned before Chief Magistrate O. O. Oshin on four- count charge of conspiracy and others by the police.
The offences, according to the police prosecutor, Barr. Morufu Animashaun, are contrary to sections 409, 52, 309 and 168(8) of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015 and punishable under same.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges.
