Fullback John Lazarus, who won last year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup with Nigeria, has been invited for trials by Portuguese club, Boavista.
Lazarus had earlier received an invitation from another Portuguese club, Rio Ave for trials.
He is a stocky, all-action right fullback who came through the Nigeria U-15s.
He also featured for the country’s U-20 team, the Flying Eagles, who failed to qualify for next year’s U-20 AFCON in Zambia.
