REGIONAL and urban planning expert Prince Kazeem Bakinson has said he is contesting to become king of Owu in Ogun State to develop the town.
Bakinson, PhD holder in Public Policy and Administration, promised to mobilise for economic emancipation of Owu at home and in Diaspora
He said: “I will liaise with the different hierarchy of government in Ogun State for development of Owu in terms of road construction, healthcare, among others. We will amplify the Owu Palace Conflict Resolution Mechanism as first point to contact in Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism before approaching the regular court for civil matters.”
Bakinson, who hails from Otopo compound of Otileta ruling family, which produced the first Olowu, added that he would galvanise non-interest loans among rich Owu indigenes as scholarships to the poor.
