Wike, Lokpobiri pay condolence visit to Wigwe’s family in Abuja

Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), paid his condolences to the parents of the late Herbert Wigwe, CEO of Access Holdings, at their residence in Abuja on Tuesday, February 13.

He was joined by Heineken Lokpobiri, the Minister of State for Petroleum, and other sympathizers during the visit.

The Nation reported that the unfortunate incident occurred on Friday, February 9, when a plane carrying Wigwe, his wife, son, former Nigerian Exchange chairman Abimbola Ogunbanjo, and two others crashed near a small town in California’s Mojave Desert.

The tragic event took place at 10 p.m. while they were en route from Palm Springs, California to Boulder City, Nevada.
