• Pillars sympathise with Matori
Wikki Tourists chairman Isa Matori is bereaved following the death of his daughter, Malama Aminat Umaima Matori.
Umaima, 29 , died on Wednesday morning at the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe State while receiving treatment for sickness. She was buried at his father’s residence Makera Street, Bauchi on Thursday morning according to Islamic rites.
Meanwhile, the management of Kano Pillars have expressed condolence to Matori’s family over Umaima’s death.
In a statement signed by the club’s media officer, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa described the death of Umaima as a great loss not only to her family but to the Nigeria in general.
Malikawa Said: “The management, technical crew and players of Kano Pillars were shocked after receiving the news of her death. We pray to almighty Allah to grant her Jannat Fridaous and give her family fortitude to bear the loss.”
