Wikki Tourists captain Mustapha Ibrahim believes their clash with Shooting Stars will be difficult with their opponents battling against the drop.
“We have always aim for the maximum points both in our home and away games but I must say this is going to be tough though it won’t be different from other matches we have played,” Mustapha told Goal.
“Immediately after the win in Bauchi on Sunday against Rivers United, the management have swuing into action to prepare for the match in Ibadan. We hope to get to Ibadan early to get enough rest and be in the right frame of mind for the match against Shooting Stars.
“They need the point the way we need it as well but definitely it’s about who wants it more and I can tell you that we do want it more and we shall give our all not leave Ibadan empty handed.”
The Bauchi-based side sit in third place with 54 points, three points behind leaders Enugu Rangers while their opponents seek to cement their status as a top-flight club for next term.
