Popular Senegalese-America singer Akon has stated Grammy award winner Wizkid is an undoubtedly born super star.
The Konvict Muzik founder spoke on the massive movement and growth of the Afrobeats genre over time during an interview with Sway Universe’s Sway Calloway and friends.
Sharing his thoughts on three of Africa’s biggest and most influential Afrobeats acts, Akon described Wizkid as a superstar.

He noted Biz Wiz was one of those few acts who just needed to drop one record still maintain a relevance all through the year.
“Wizkid is just a super star. He’s one of those guys that put out one record a year and that record lasts the whole year. Like he’s just a born star without a doubt,” he stressed.
