InDIGENOUS language media association has been inaugurated in Lagos. The group, Guild of Yoruba Media Practitioners (GYMP), is open to the public.
The Chairman, Mr. Samuel Akinrole, said membership is open to active Yoruba language media practitioners.
He said: “The association seeks to promote Yoruba journalism in line with standard and technology. It will expose members to opportunities and programmes in Yoruba journalism.
“GYMP intends to protect members’ welfare through symposia, workshops and seminars…”
The Secretary, Olaide Gold, said interested persons could obtain forms, adding individuals interested would pay annual subscription fee.
