Actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has hailed her colleague, Mercy Aigbe for the pivotal role she played that led to her becoming a movie star.
According to NBS, when collating names of star makers, Mercy Aigbe’s should be number one on the list.
Nkechi Blessing said this in reaction to her colleague’s post where she recounted and praised her growth process.
The 44-year-old actress-cum-businesswoman shared a throwback photo of a movie poster that captured her and Nkechi Blessing.
Sharing same, Mercy Aigbe narrated how Nkechi Blessing approached her eight years ago in tears and told her she was about to throw in the towel on her acting career.
Aigbe revealed she encouraged her colleague not to quit and also put in words about her to some movie producers and they eventually both ended up starring in the movie, “Omoge Lekki.”

She wrote: @nkechiblessingsunday I can never forget the day you walked into my office (precisely 8 years ago) crying and talking about how hard it was to make it in the industry and you were getting discouraged…

Affirming Mercy Aigbe’s disclosure, NBS showered prayers and hailed her as the number one star-maker.
“This Woman! Kaii heaven knows I cannot trade you for anything. If they are counting star makers, you should be number one on that list. May God continue to bless the work of your hands, love you mama”, she wrote.
