After being out of the limelight for a while, torchlight-holding musician, Zaaki Azzay, last week performed one of his hit tracks, Marry Am, during a wedding in Okene, Kogi State.
It was a turn up of celebrities as former DIG of Police, Umar Sani, gave out his daughter’s hand, Hajia Hadiza Umaru to Emmanuel O. Nathaniel in a two-day ceremony last Thursday and Friday. The bride is the CEO of Hazdokas Group, which is majorly into Estate building and road construction.
At the wedding, many of the guests couldn’t get enough of the Marry Am crooner as they kept spraying him with money and dancing to his music.
Representing Nollywood at the wedding were Uche Elendu, Emeka Enyiocha and Benedict Johnson.
Also present at the wedding were former AIG of Police Mamman Tsafe, former Speaker of the Anambra State, Hon Patrick O Udeoba, Sen. Mohammed Jibril Kabir, Sen. Bashir Abubakar, Sen Kabir Gaya, Dr. Prophet Sunday Balogun, Honourable Joshua Ogbole and Andrew Koho including a horde of Kogi State politicians including Hon. Usman Ochidi SA to the Gov of Kogi State projects monitoring, Hon. Suleiman Abdulmalik SSA to the Gov. Kogi State on youth empowerment, Hon. Hamza Yabagi SA job creation and Hon Arome Adoji Commissioner of Youth and Sports Kogi State.
