The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted 11,381.5kg of illegal drugs in Niger State.
The drugs were sent by waybill to the owners in different parts of the state and beyond.

Twelve suspects have been arrested in connection with the seizure.
The state NDLEA acting commander Isaac Aloye said over 25 sacks of dried weeds suspected to be cannabis sativa, cocaine, cough syrups, and methamphetamine, among others, were seized.
