A forum, comprising 149 Lagos State House of Assembly aspirants of All Progressives Congress (APC), has endorsed the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and governoprship candidate, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for 2023.
The group, under the umbrella, LAHAA 2023, spoke yesterday, promising to deliver three million votes for the candidates.
Coordinator Adeyinka Odukoya noted that they were committed to delivering victory for APC in Lagos.
Odukoya said the forum’s “target is to reach out to Nigerians, party and non-party members, with permanent voters card (PVC), and determination to convert and convince them to cast their votes for APC in the interest of Lagos and Nigeria.”
According to the spokesperson, Barr Dare Dada, the forum is set to convince the leaders that it is capable to take the APC to the next level.
Dada said they are ready to get a chunk of the eligible voters for the APC.
According to him, the closeness of its members to the grassroots and their reach across the constituencies would be put to maximum use for the needed results.
“Our target will majorly be the market. It is a convergent point from where believe we can penetrate every household.
“Whatever we are doing as a forum is not in isolation. It is in tandem with our great party, which we are all keen to see succeed at the next polls,” he said.
LAHAA 2023 passed a vote of confidence in Sanwo-Olu while enjoining Lagosians to “support him for the continuation of his good work for another four years.”
