Otunba Femi Soluade, a former Ogun State Hospital Management Board member, has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Mass Action Joint Alliance (Maja Party).
Otunba Soluade, in his appreciation speech, said he possessed the qualities required to lead the state to the promised land and save the state from drifting into precipice.
He said confidently that he would win the governorship election in the state in 2019.
The governorship candidate stated that he had developed a master plan coined the 1,460-day development plan to fast track the development of the state and was poised to cause development revolution and radical changes in the areas of education, rural and urban development and integration, agriculture, health care delivery and workers’ welfare.
He promised to pursue local government autonomy and formulate policies and programmes that would enhance security of life and property and uplift youths through the promotion of acquisition of skills in entrepreneurship,sport and small scale businesses for the poor.
The National Chairman of the party, Dr Gabriel B. Tiyamiyu, who was present and received the appreciation letter presented by Chief Soluade during the brief ceremony, said that “the state is safe with the emergence of Otunba Soluade who is passionate about welfare and economic infrastructure development that would be delivered by the party, reducing poverty level through the basic party cardinal agenda of social egalitarian welfarism that would help people of diversity in Ogun to live peacefully and consolidate on the achievements of the past leaders and the outgoing administration”.
