A Group, Pacesetters Mentorship Goal Initiative (PMGI), on Sunday, expressed support for All Progressives Congress (APC) and its presidential candidate, Sen. Bola Tinubu in the 2023 general elections.

Founder of the group, Mr Monsuru Lawal, stated this at a news briefing in Ikeja, Lagos.

Lawal said that the group was committed to the victory of Tinubu/ Shettima and all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

“Tinubu/Shettima are tested and trusted, and their combination offers renewed hope for the citizenry. It will ensure our today and assure us of our tomorrow.

“Tinubu is a good leader to follow. As he did in Lagos, we are sure that he will do more for Nigeria,” he said.

“The organisation stands as the mouthpiece and link between the ordinary members for the actualisation of dividends of democracy.

“The group exists across Lagos and other states as a socio-political and non-governmental organisation (NGO) that cares for social services and better life for all,” he said.

In his keynote address, President of PMGI in Lagos chapter, Alhaji Adeshina Otesanya, said that members of the group were determined to deliver 90 per cent of the votes in the state for APC and its candidates.

Otesanya urged members of the group to go back to their local governments, local council development areas and wards to campaign for Tinubu.

He appealed to PMGI members and youths to collect their permanent voter cards (PVCs) to enable them cast their votes for the party during the forthcoming general elections.

Otesanya also called on members to begin door-to-door, street-to-street and market-to-market campaign for Tinubu and other candidates of the party.

Also speaking, APC Woman Leader, Mrs Stella James, urged members not to relent in their efforts, adding that they should put more synergy to the group activities.
