2023: Nasarawa First Lady mobilises support for Tinubu, Sule

The First Lady of Nasarawa State,  Silifat Abdullahi Sule, has drummed support for Senator Bola Tinubu, the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to succeed in February 25th Presidential Election.

She also called on people of the state to vote Governor Abdullahi Sule and all other APC candidates in the general election.

The governor’s wife made the call, weekend, in Akwanga during the Nasarawa North APC women’s campaign rally for the election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria and the re-election of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

She called on women who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to do so to exercise their rights during the general election.

“It is only with the PVCs that you will vote Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abdullahi Sule and other APC candidates in the general election.

“Voting Tinubu, my husband and other APC candidates will enable you and others to enjoy the much needed dividends of democracy;” adding that the “APC government at both the national and state levels have performed well and still doing well in touching our peoples’ lives positively.”

Sule added that “with Tinubu as President of Nigeria and Abdullahi Sule as Governor, there would be more empowerment of women and other citizens.”

On their parts, Mrs Mary Enwongulu, former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Mrs Blessing Ebuga, State APC Woman Leader, among other women, appealed to the entire women to vote for Tinubu and Sule during the general elections.

They said that the APC-led federal government and the state government led by Governor Sule have empowered and still empowering the women and other people, hence, the need for Nigerians to give them their votes during the elections.
