A 68-year-old man, Linus Onuzulike has been arrested for allegedly defiling a seven-year-old girl in Abagana in Njikoka Local Government of Anambra State.

The suspect was paraded at the weekend alongside 15 others over sundry alleged offences.

Police spokesman Haruna Mohammed also said a 24-year old man was apprehended for rape.

Speaking to newsmen, the 68-year-old suspect denied the allegation, saying he was accused by the victim’s mother, who happened to be his sister following a misunderstanding between them.
