Council organizes feeding programme

The Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Lagos, Hon Emmanuel Bamgboye, has emphasized the need to eradicate hunger in the country.

Speaking during a feeding programme organized by the council, for the people of the local government, he said food was the most basic and the most important need, stressing that hardly anyone can do any thing without food.

The council chair who was represented at the programmed tagged: ‘Food for all: feed people in Mushin, by Deputy Leader and Councillor for Ward D Hon Muritala Kayode Oyeniyi, and Councillor for ward C, Hon Adedeji Oladapo, said the initiative was birthed out of the need to show love and care towards the needy. “The major goal of this programme is to spearhead a social advocacy that will inspire individuals and the society to develop a culture of love and care for one another, especially the poor amongst us.
Over 1000 people attended the programme.
