NIGERIAN Union of Pensioners (NUP) has distributed palliatives to cushion the effect of COVID-19 on its members.
The union said despite the age disadvantage of its members, nobody cared to support them with palliatives.
It urged government at all levels to come to the aid of its members by providing them with palliatives to ameliorate their sufferings amidst the pandemic.
NUP’s General Secretary, Elder Actor Zal, who spoke in Abuja, also urged all pensioners to observe the precautionary measures for their safety and that of their families.
