The residents of Mushin Federal Constituency II are reaping the benefit of having Bolaji Yusuf Ayinla represent them at the House of Representatives. Ayinla has facilitated projects from the Federal Government to the constituency aside personally empowering hundreds of his constituents.
BYA, as Ayinla is fondly called, recently delivered six sets of medical equipment to public health centres (PHCs) in Mushin.
The materials were received by Mushin Local Government Chairman Emmanuel Bamgboye. Bamigboye hailed the lawmaker for priotising the needs of his constituency.
Among the beneficial health centre is the Igbo-Owu Health Centre.
The lawmaker also facilitated the siting of transformers, solar-powered street lights and borehole in selected areas in the constituency.

Before the pupils went on holiday, Ayinla distributed text books on critical subjects and exercise books to the public schools in Mushin.
In November, he initiated a Tailoring Training Programme in Mushin, where 150 people participated.
At the end of the training, the lawmaker gave all the 150 trainees sowing machines, pressing irons and cash to become self-employed.
Ayinla said the initiative was to remove the beneficiaries from those that relied on people for sustenance.
He said: “What you are witnessing is the launching and training of people in tailoring. This is meant to empower them so that they do not beg for money from anybody again.
“I implore all trainees to maximise the benefits of this programme for their personal and societal development. I want to assure my people that, we will not stop in bringing meaningful changes and developments to our constituency and I’m also happy with the turnout.”
Ayinla urged the beneficiaries not to sell the material donated to them.
“Don’t see it as your own share of the national cake, rather a means to earn a sustainable livelihood. You can turn your fortune around with these instruments if well used,” he said.
Blessing Okhueleigbe from the Border Communities Development Agency in Abuja, who came to supervise the project, said she was impressed with the initiative.
“The lawmaker has given them a new lease of life. They should put all they learnt into practise and use it to better their lives,” she said.
Two of the beneficiaries, Adesewa Fasanya and Sarah Morakinyo, thanked Ayinla for the gesture.
