Tina Odjaghian is the founder of Odjaghian Law Group and specializes in catastrophic workers’ compensation with an emphasis on brain injury litigation.
As a leader in her industry, Tina has secured over 200 million dollars in settlements and awards on behalf of catastrophically injured individuals, with over 50 seven-figure settlements and awards just in the last few years alone. “Since my firm is consistently recognized in the Daily Journal and Verdict Search for achieving some of the highest settlements, we are regarded as masters in our industry,” she says.
Outside of her own practice, Tina is very involved in the brain injury community, serving as a board member with the UCLA Department of Neurosurgery. She also serves on the Board of Governors of the Armenian Bar Association and was recently appointed to their Judicial Evaluation Committee.
As she has created these networks in her career, Tina began to feel inspired to take her commitments a step further, founding her own non-profit organization in 2019.
She said: “I wanted to use this to help educate other colleagues on the nuances of litigating traumatic brain injury cases, so I created a non-profit organization called Brain Society of California, which is also known as Brain SoCal. This organization continues to provide resources to folks in the brain injury community and to my colleagues in the med-legal community to better advocate for these catastrophically injured individuals in society as best as possible in order to help pick up the pieces.
“We held a very successful first annual brain injury conference last October in Los Angeles that took place over two days of educational panels, networking and welcomed industry leaders to use our platform in sharing the most cutting-edge technology and knowledge regarding traumatic brain injuries. We are producing several webinar series under this year’s circumstances as we had to postpone the second annual conference in the midst of this pandemic, but planning is underway for Brain SoCal Med-Legal Conference 2021, which happen over two days next October at the JW Marriott at L.A. Live right next to the Staples Center.”

Despite achieving such great success in her career, Tina still finds time for the things that matter most to her. As a self-appointed ‘fashionista’ with a carefully curated selection of couture, she brings a touch of beauty to every endeavor. She aspires to leave a legacy for her children, not only by providing for her family, but also by remaining true to herself, making a significant difference in people’s lives after the tragedy, and defining success on her own terms.
“Success, for me, means being able to do what I want to do when I want to do it,” she says. “It means not being reliant on a job to live my best life. It means earning the respect and recognition of my colleagues. It means being the best at what I do not matter what that is and also being a great all-around human being and giving back to the community whether that is through volunteer work, non-profit ventures, and killing it at my profession too. I am not defined by my success is not one-dimensional.”
