Gunmen have shot two private guards and abducted two Chinese expatriates in a mining site at Okepa/Itikan village in Osun State.

The Nation gathered the incident happened on Monday around 4 pm at Ifewara in Atakunmosa West Local Government Area.

Spokesperson of Osun Police Command, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident.

She identified the abducted Chinese as Zhao Jian 33 and Wen 50.

She said the injured private guards have been taken to the general hospital for treatment.
