Sir: I appeal and request President Muhammadu Buhari to help complete Agaie-Katcha-Baro federal road in Niger State.
This road project has been on over years now and is yet to be completed. In fact, it is presently being abandoned. Only about 12KM road has been constructed, (i.e Agaie to Shaba Woshi) leaving the larger part uncompleted. Because of the deplorable condition of the road more especially Katcha-Baro road, the economic activities within these areas have been paralyzed. This road if completed will not only boost the economy but also contribute greatly to the economic development of not only Baro (being the area of location of River Port), Katcha and Agaie LGAs, northern region but Nigeria as a whole. Baro has been an ancient town and recognized as one of the contributors to nation’s economy during colonial era.
I therefore, request President Buhari come to our plight and construct the 90% left of the road so as to boost the economic activities in the affected local governments, Niger State and Nigeria as a whole.
